TREATMENT NOTE

You get a script and they ask for a treatment note. You don’t have a minute to spare, you hire me! You send me the script, the agency brief and your vision after your conversation with the creative. I create for you a complete treatment note – from text to design to references.

TREATMENT EDITING

Sometimes, directors like to create their own template, or have a DA who can reference but can’t write. We edit ‘text only’ as well. You send us your material and we will articulate it on your behalf.

TREATMENT DESIGN

Sometimes, directors, especially the storytellers, prefer to write on their own; but don’t have the energy and habit of making impressive presentation layouts. Trust us to design it for you. Just send in the text and we will get back to you with the film coming alive in that layout with pictures.

RELATED SERVICES

We are not just about commercials, we work on everything from film pitches to web series bibles to DOP reports to synopsis or rough video edits.

TREATMENT WRITING PROCESS:

Simple, Committed and Deadline Bound.

We begin with the Director’s Brief – Either Call or voice recording. If we are working for the first time, we send a draft one within 24 hours for the approval of Design Layout, Text flow and general (WIP) visual references gallery. Then, we work on the feedback and detail out each header with visuals, video references and explanatory text. And in the end, we handover the final file in suitable format and size. We are open to as many rounds of back and forth for the the changes even after the final submission.

APPROACH:

I create treatment notes on behalf of the director in a manner that it is every bit the director’s reflection and voice.

I take the brief, I see their previous work and understand the director’s vision and approach. Then, I internalise it to create a treatment note that is not only impressive but equally personal and exclusive. Every director has his individual style of expressing and we stay true to that. For eg. some like only international references, some only Indian faces, some don’t like quirky fonts, some like to add newer ideas to the narrative beyond the script, some never like committing to casting references and so on.
